We all know that Workingman's Dead and American Beauty are considered classics, not just by the Deadheads, but the rest of the world. But which one is better? I think only the real old-school fans prefer Workingman's, but let's harness the collective consciousness of the Internet to provide an accumulative result! Besides, Dire Wolf rules...
Actually, the real battle may be for second place. I think Wake of the Flood, Mars Hotel and Blues for Allah are all underrated.
Ultimately, this survey isn't intended to be very scientific. At best, it's another (hopefully) enjoyable online time-waster that will serve to remind us how great these two albums are.
